Social Media Classroom
At the Kophen Association, our mission extends beyond our school. We recognize that in Afghanistan, there are numerous youths who, for various reasons, have not been able to officially enrol in our educational programs. To bridge this gap and reach as many Afghan youth as possible, we've harnessed the power of social media.
In a country where accessibility to traditional educational institutions can be challenging, social media serves as a vital tool for connecting with Afghan youth. We have leveraged platforms that are widely accessible across the nation, ensuring that educational opportunities can be accessed from remote regions to urban centres.
Through social media platforms, we engage with the youths in two primary approach:
Online Educational Resource Sharing: We provide a virtual extension of the Online School through a wealth of educational resources, from video lessons and lectures to study materials. This will assist Afghan youths beyond our immediate students, enabling them to access the high-quality education of The Online School as if in an unofficial capacity.
Creating and Sharing Content on Public Knowledge: Education doesn't stop at textbooks. We believe in broadening horizons by sharing content mostly videos on social media platforms and improve the public knowledge of Afghan youths. This may include insights into global issues, diverse cultures, and topics that may not always be part of the official curriculum. These contents stimulate curiosity and critical thinking, promoting a well-rounded education.
By utilizing social media, the Kophen Association is committed to breaking down barriers to education, ensuring that every Afghan youth has the opportunity to learn, grow, and expand their worldview. We are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of Afghan youth, regardless of their circumstances, and we invite you to join us on this inspiring journey. Together, we can empower the next generation of leaders in Afghanistan.
